4 Hands Brewing company offers the craft beer enthusiast a handcrafted portfolio inspired by the American craft movement that pushes the limits of creativity. Their core line up includes Divided Sky Rye IPA, Reprise Centennial Red, Cast Iron Oatmeal Brown, and Single Speed (Blonde ale brewed with Jasmine). A few examples of their seasonal offerings include;
Prussia Berliner Weisse, Contact High - Hoppy wheat ale brewed with blood orange zest, Chocolate Milk Stout, Morning Glory - Sweet potato ale brewed with all spice, nutmeg, and vanilla beans
Their barrel aging program will produce a truly unique line of beers. The use of wine and spirit barrels containing an array of fruit, herbs, and spices in conjunction with wild yeast strains will enhance the flavors to produce a one of a kind beer. The next two barrel aged releases will be;
Cuvee Ange, Dark saison aged in red wine barrels with raspberries and blackberries
Volume #1, Russian Imperial Stout aged in whiskey barrels with coffee and chocolate
Perennial Artisan Ales is a small batch craft brewery dedicated to producing unique, premium beers. Their beers are brewed with the experimental, seasoned craft beer drinker in mind and range from sessionable, Belgian-style Saisons to Barrel-aged Imperial Stouts to Ales aged on Midwest-grown fruit. Perennial's Tasting Room & production brewery are located in the South Carondelet neighborhood of St. Louis, where a new beer is released every Thursday at 6:00 PM. They offer a concise, ever-changing food menu, utilizing locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
Brewmaster Florian Kuplent brings nearly two decades of artisan brewing experience to Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. From serving as a brewer’s apprentice in a small Germany brewery to developing award-winning beer recipes for one of the world’s largest brewers, Florian now shares his distinctive brewing creations with the craft beer enthusiasts of St. Louis from the brewhouse of his start-up brewery, Urban Chestnut Brewing Company.
The Square One Brewery & Distillery began operations as a brewery /restaurant in February of 2006. In their beers they use hops from both Europe and America along with traditional craft brewing methods to create a wide range of beers. Some of these beers, brewed true to style, even to the point of using original Czech hops specified in the Pilsner beers in Germany. For their India and American pale ale they use cascade, Amarillo, summit & Kent golden hops as the recipes require. After paying homage to the great beer styles of Germany, England and America they can not help but add their own twist by which we make certain styles our own. They carry a wide range of beers brewing up to 35 styles during the year. There are up to 13 beers on tap at the restaurant with our Main Stay house beers, seasonal selections and a cask contitioned ale.
Historic downtown Ferguson’s first brewpub. Joe Lonero purchased St. John’s Liquor store and turned it into what it is today. The doors opened for Ferguson Brewing Co. in April, 2010 and our mission is simple…Produce good food and great beer. With 14 different beer styles on tap, Brewmaster Josh Wilson is dedicated to hand-crafting fine ales and lagers and bringing the finest quality beers to our customers.
Schlafly Beer is St. Louis’s local brewer of traditional craft beers since 1991. When they opened their taps over 20 years ago, they were the city’s first new brewery since the end of Prohibition. Today, they are a regional favorite that brews and bottles dozens of varieties every year including our flagship Pale Ale or dry-hopped APA and seasonals like Summer Lager and Pumpkin Ale.
Their first location, The Schlafly Tap Room, located in downtown St. Louis, is housed in a turn of the century brick and timber building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, it is home to a small brewery and restaurant that serves classic old world fare. Their newest location, Schlafly Bottleworks, opened in 2003. Built on the site of an abandoned grocery store, Bottleworks holdstheir larger production brewery and bottling line along with a restaurant that features foods from local farmers.
Six Row Brewing Company produces quality ales and lagers from the site of the old Falstaff Brewery at 3690 Forest Park Ave., in the Midtown area of St. Louis, near St. Louis University. Their Old Plant No. 1 Pub is open to the public and features craft brewed beers along with selections from other craft breweries and wineries. Stop by and enjoy a pint soon!
